The portable dome is conducive to the pitless dome theater technology of DigitalSky, maximizing valuable floor space and optimizing traffic flow. There is ample room around the dome periphery to place projection systems on stands. The dome sets up/breaks down easily in a day with a crew of several able bodies and it seats an audience of 50 to 70 people.
