Every planetarium has miscellaneous switch functions (tape deck transport functions, for example) which need to be controlled. This card is an economical solution; it contains 8 individually controllable dry contact relays. Optional Console Tally Rider Card provides feedback to illuminated console pushbuttons. |
SPECIFICATIONS
INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
RELAY OUTPUTS - 16 pin Phoenix male detachable terminal strip. Eight sets of Common and Normally Open contacts, at 24 volts, 1/2 amp.
RELAY INPUTS - 9 pin Dshell male. 8 switch inputs and one ground.
PANEL DISPLAYS
8 red status leds, one for each relay.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
Utility card used where low level loads (under 24 Volts, 1/2 Amp) need to be controlled by SPICE AUTOMATION. Contacts are dry, and have good low level ability making them ideal for loads unsuitable for solid state control.
MAXIMUM CABLE RUN
Dependent on load, 25 ft nominal.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
Card draws necessary power directly from the NUTMEG
Power must be supplied to the load dependent on the load.
Card requires one open option-card slot in a NUTMEG
When ordered with OPTIONAL CONSOLE TALLY RIDER CARD the following ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS apply:
INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
LAMP TALLY OUTPUTS - 25 pin Dshell female. 24 bilevel lamp drive outputs to control lighted pushbutton switches.
SYSTEM CONTROLS - 9 pin Dshell male. Eight switch inputs and one ground.
GND/CON LO/CON HI - 3 pin detachable terminal strip. Provides the voltages for the bilevel lamp control.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
Attaches to any of the Utility cards for control of backlighted switches and for system controls such as Auto/Manual selection, all outputs set, and all outputs reset.
