NUTMEG 24 CHANNEL OPEN COLLECTOR CARD

First in a series of new NUTMEG utility cards, the open collector card provides 24 "pull to ground" outputs. Uses include operating remote relays and solid state switches. Connects directly to the SS 4542 24 Channel Relay Plate to provide control over 24 relays. Optional Console Tally Rider Card provides feedback to illuminated console pushbuttons.

SPECIFICATIONS

INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTIONS

CHANNEL OUTPUTS - 25 pin Dshell female. 24 "pull to ground" outputs and one ground.
GND - 1/4" faston connector to allow a strong ground connection when used with heavy loads.
CHANNEL INPUTS - 25 pin Dshell male. 24 switch inputs and one ground.

PANEL DISPLAYS

24 red status leds, one for each output.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES

Utility card used where DC low level loads (under 100 milliamps) need to be controlled by SPICE AUTOMATION. Saturation of outputs is about 1 volt DC, so any TTL interfaces should use the SS276-110 or the SS276-122.

MAXIMUM CABLE RUN

Dependent on load, 25 ft nominal.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

Card draws necessary power directly from the NUTMEG
Power must be supplied to the load dependent on the load.
Card requires one open option-card slot in a NUTMEG

When ordered with OPTIONAL CONSOLE TALLY RIDER CARD the following ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS apply—

INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTIONS

LAMP TALLY OUTPUTS - 25 pin Dshell female. 24 bilevel lamp drive outputs to control lighted pushbutton switches.
SYSTEM CONTROLS - 9 pin Dshell male. Eight switch inputs and one ground.
GND/CON LO/CON HI - 3 pin detachable terminal strip. Provides the voltages for the bilevel lamp control.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES

Attaches to any of the Utility cards for control of back lighted switches and for system controls such as Auto/Manual selection, all outputs set, and all outputs reset.

Whether you order the OPTIONAL CONSOLE TALLY RIDER CARD or not, the front panel is the same. The rear panel, however, changes.
