CLOVE II Multi-Channel Audio Mixing System

Sophisticated, multi-channel planetarium sound systems need dependable, easy-to-understand signal routing and volume control. While conventional audio mixers can be used for this purpose, they are generally set up for a stereo (2-channel) mix; achieving more than two output channels requires sub-mix assignments which are often confusing to novice or part-time operators. Sky-Skan has conveniently solved this problem with the CLOVE II Multi-channel Audio Mixing System – full dynamic audio control that freely interacts with your SPICE Automation system.

The CLOVE II Audio System is comprised of three key parts.

The CLOVE Chassis supplies power and a host processor to aid SPICE Automation. The chassis holds a total of eight Audio Input/Output Cards.
The Audio Input Card is your means of connecting raw audio signal to the system; each card supports up to six balanced monophonic channels and a simple internal, configurable audio patch.
The Audio Output Card delivers your mixed audio signals to your amplification system noise-free (levels controlled via sound and lighting manual panel or SPICE Automation computer).

READY push button resets the chassis processor

AUDIO INPUT CARD

LED (1-6) Green LED indicators indicates audio signal is being received by the corresponding channel
POTS (1-6) Turn potentiometers sets audio input signal level for the corresponding channel
