VENUS: Earth’s Fiery Twin
Why has Venus proven so hard to study? Does Venus have active volcanoes? How do features on Venus relate to those we see on Earth?
These questions and more are answered in this dynamic show, produced by the
Henry Buhl, Jr. Planetarium of the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh. It incorporates
findings from the spectacular Magellan mission to Venus. If your planetarium
has at least 1 video disc player and video projector, plus a panorama system,
you can run this show.
The program comes complete with 1 long-play (CLV format) video disc, containing the full narration and music, which you may decode for Dolby Surround if your theater is so equipped. In addition, a second interactive (CAV format) video disc is furnished for theaters equipped with more than one video projector.
Over 100 masked and mounted slides (includes 2 panoramas and one All-Sky), along with a script and production booklet, complete the package. SPICE Automation cue files, Digistar files, and custom soundtrack mixes are also available.
