SPACECRAFT IMAGE DISC #1
We brought together one of the world's foremost spacecraft model builders (Brian Sullivan), a cinematographer with Hollywood special effects credits, and Academy AwardŽ winning UltimatteŽ green screen technology to inaugurate our new Planetarium Production Tools series.
Spacecraft Image Disc #1 contains 30 minutes of beautiful spacecraft model animations. These are actual models (not computer generated) matted against super-black, or, in some cases, against planet animations. Ever-changing shadows, and the glint of sunlight on the solar panels, impart a unique sense of realism. Because we made traveling mattes for each sequence, we can matte these models against any background image to special order.
1 NTSC LaserDisc or DVD w/production notes.Licensed for in-house planetarium performances only.
